eccleston's eyes prove to me the theory of relativity
I wasn't planning on writing a post today, but I was uhm... well I had a good reason for it, which was to find a good picture of Eccleston which I could draw, but man I got distracted.
You know I'll never get all those people who tell me Eccleston isn't that good looking, or all those fanfics out there where Ten looks in the mirror and goes on about how better he looks this time around, or fics where Rose is thinking it.
Eccleston is hot. Maybe this is an overused phrase, but he has really nice eyes, and you can't tell me that he isn't adorable, I mean he's fourty-six, he still manages to look dorkish and geeky and seven-years-old when he wants to (or someone's asking him about something he likes).
HE NEEDS TO BE IN MORE MOVIE THINGS WEARING GLASSES. (And from what I've seen of Shallow Grave, he has a nice knack of playing normal characters that have gone or will go completely batshit fucking crazy.)
As for pretty, maybe not. Maybe in some shots, particularly when he was younger, but BAM:
He spends half of his interview rubbing his head and it is kind of adorable cause it's so obviously a nervous habit.
Also Eccleson has a way of looking casually intense. Like he could be eating waffles and looking completely normal except for the fact that when you look into his eyes, you know he's about ten seconds away from wearing your vocal cords as a scarf.
Like confidently homicidal.
I mean, this is just personal opinion, of course, but I always feel like when Tennant is trying to do intense, it's just mostly him staring while looking mildly angry. I'd even say Smith does intense a lot better than him, but yeah. Eccleston is pretty damn good looking, guys.
For that record, so's McGann. Even if he is pretty short. (Amy would tower over him, could you imagine that, Eight would be so pissed, just like >| while having his companion be three inches taller than him I NEED THIS NOW.)
