My friend would disagree. She thinks the show got better after S1 - it's a pity that so many shows suffer from what you got with House, though.

I found S1 really clinical and repetitive and then I just dropped out of it like a teenager trying to be a rock star at sixteen and started doing crack.
... And by that I watched something else I think I liked a lot more. I think it might have been West Wing.
